Moonshine Jungle Tour: The Pros & Cons of Seating in the $300++ Chair

#DizIzDMoment 14 Dec 13 "It's definitely a date 😎 #KeepingItCool #ScreamingInside #YesImHashtaggingMyFeelings by @ rocellits " I remember pretty well we booked our Bruno Mars ticket last December a spontaneous one. "Just book it!", Lester said.  Though, I was really pushing Lester to watch with me, because he hasn't been to a concert before! like, ever. So that makes it less spontaneous. Plus, I believe Lester is a closet no. 1 fan of Bruno Mars. He has Bruno Mars on his phone, on his CD, and he would always sing-along when a Bruno Mars song is playing on a radio. Major signs that he is, undoubtedly a no. 1 fan of Bruno Mars. And as a girl friend, I have duties and responsibilities to unleash this  We really don't have any choice because the Mosh area ($190++) is sold out and left with the most fancy ticket, the $300++.  Fast Forward to 2014: We weren't counting the days to the concert day. Nevertheless, I downloaded the album ju...

My History of Desktops (and Tips on How to Organize your Icons)

Image
Let's talk about our desktops: our virtual desktops. In the real world, I'm a mess. Really. My parents know, my roomie knows, Lester knows (he sees how messy my bag could get). But, as I mature*, I started to organizing things. I start going to Ikea. But since I got my own laptop back in 2010, I was organized with my virtual files. I want my my files and folders to be kept good. I want a clear view of my Windows Desktop. So here's a history of what my desktop looks like: Exhibit A: Rocellits I got a little bit obsessed with Rainmeter . I kept looking, and looking, and looking, and looking, for the best of the best of the best tool for my desktop. Look at the time there: I finished this very simple look at two in the morning! What am I thinking! But I was so in love and proud with this. This is very me. :) Exhibit B: Overboard I went overboard. I found this Gaia pack and got, again, obsessed with it. There were too many to choose from! Though, I remember ...

What is the Last Dream That You Remember?

Image
The last dream that I remember was the dream I shared with Lester last time:  I'm not sure though if it sets a good mood on him or got weird out...

One weekend, I had a big problem. I looked Into my closet full of clothes, and found nothing to wear. I made an important message to Lester. And you know what he said? "Well, you haven't worn the things i gave you.."Something like that. And my heart melted . You see, it's not that I don't wear the clothes he got for me, it's just that, there was no particular event to wear my Adidas shirts. But, when he said that, there's one thing that crossed my mind: CHALLENGE ACCEPTED Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday All from Adidas Originals :) and I love them all. Moral lesson: Don't make drama. Think outside the box. Be grateful on what you have. It's how you style it. :)

Why Sucker for Happy Endings?

Image
During the time that social network sites are starting to boom. Twitter, Multiply, Facebook, Tumblr, Facebook, Instagram, They would all want an info about yourself. Some people would love it or may actually think you're cool if you just put a one-sentence show about yourself. I was 18-20 years old that time, practically trying to be a teen, when I started really thinking hard how can I best describe myself in one sentence.  So I looked at books I was reading that time: Harry Potter. Betty &Veronica Comics. Nicholas Sparks. I looked on the videos I was watching that time: Boyce Avenue, JK Rowling stuffs, Oprah (I know), and a Ted Video. Happy Ending movies. Happy endings. yes, I'm a sucker for happy endings. I feel good when I read stories about happy endings. I want happy endings .  About Me Facebook Tumblr Twitter There's no other side on this. Both of me are a sucker of happy endings .

To All My Fellow Filipinos Abroad: We Carry our Flag too, Just Like Martinez in Sochi

Image
Philippines' flag bearer, figure skater Michael Christian Martinez, leads his national delegation during the Opening Ceremony of the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics. 2014 AFP I was reading about Christian Martinez, the only Southeast Asian Olympian at the Sochi Winter Olympic Games. And... He is a FILIPINO. :) Competing in a prestigious INTERNATIONAL game and alone . Man, it takes a lot of guts to be there. People viewing around the world will see you, judge you. The feeling of  stepping in a foreign soil alone for the first time? New rules, new faces, new language.  And yet, Martinez should stay focus on what he know he do best: Skating. It's very hard to focus with a LOT of stuff going on.  Of course I am a proud Pinoy here. I feel for him . Well, kinda, because I felt exactly the same when I first arrived here in Singapore. Though I didn't marched out the airport with a Philippine flag on my hands, and not a lot of people waiting for me to come out from the arrival hal...

The Hardest Thing.

Here's me having some very random thought last October 11, 2013 The hardest thing of all, is to LISTEN . You cant give your full attention to your teacher at school. You can't even give your 2 listening ears to your parents when they talk (or nag).  But when you try to listen (with an open mind of course), you start to UNDERSTAND . This is where the "aaahs" and "ooohs" happen.  And when you understand, you begin to ACCEPT it. You accept that this concept can ha ppen; that this idea can happen; or this thought can be true .  And when you accept it, you begin to LOVE it. You begin to see the beauty of it. You have a whole new world in front of you.  And when you love... Well... You want to SHARE it. You want other people to see what you saw. You want them to feel what you felt.  Then you want the people to LISTEN . Aah, and that's the hardest thing.
